Traineeships
We welcome students from first to final year, by offering diverse traineeship opportunities. As a trainee, you’ll be another extraordinary member of the team from day one, gaining hands-on experience with close support and collaboration.
At Avance, trainees are integral to our teams, working closely with lawyers across a wide range of assignments. Our traineeship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in business law, with exposure to corporate transactions, dispute resolution, major projects, and regulatory matters.
We look for individuals who share our values and want to be part of a collaborative team. A proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and solution-oriented approach are qualities that help trainees succeed in our fast-paced environment.
Trainees contribute much like junior associates, drafting documents, conducting research and legal analysis, and assisting with due diligence processes. They may also support in general office tasks. Strong communication skills in both Finnish and English are essential; Swedish and other languages are considered a plus. International experience through study, work, or volunteering is also valued.
Avance offers part-time Office Trainee positions for law and BBA students in the early stages of their studies. The role provides hands-on experience in a top-tier business law firm while working alongside friendly and supportive colleagues.
Office Trainees are essential to daily operations, assisting with welcoming guests, setting up meetings, supporting events, and, from time-to-time, helping also lawyers with client work. The position is ideal for students with a strong service mindset, proactive attitude, and fluency in both Finnish and English.
The Assistant Trainee role at Avance offers a unique chance to experience the dynamic environment of a top-tier law firm while working closely with our assistant team and lawyers. This traineeship provides exposure to a wide variety of tasks, from coordinating meetings and travel arrangements to editing documents and conducting research.
The role suits individuals with strong attention to detail, excellent prioritization skills, and solid knowledge of MS Office. A proactive attitude, team spirit, and fluency in both Finnish and English are essential, while Swedish is an advantage.
