Sonja advises clients in commercial and contentious intellectual property and technology matters, including software and other IP licensing, transactions, and disputes, including employee invention matters. She is also specialized in data protection, cybersecurity, and other regulatory matters, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and protection of privacy in the employment and healthcare contexts, and regularly lectures and writes on data protection topics. In addition to her Finnish law degree, Sonja has an LL.M. degree from Stanford Law School.
